A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES OFFERED BY PEREGRiNE

Peregrine was founded in the 1980s, in Henfield, West Sussex by Dan Abbott, at that

time Marketing & PR Consultant to Ascot Racecourse.

The company produces Bespoke Leather-bound Owners Racing Records, Scrapbooks

and Memorabilia Albums. We also produce Individual Racing Albums to specific order.

Owners racing colours are hand-painted on the front.

OWNERS RACING RECORDS can either be filled in by the Owner or we provide

a complete Research and Calligraphy Service which has been highly acclaimed by

Our Clients and The Racing Press (see attached sheet).

We also offer a neat handwritten style as an alternative to Calligraphy and a Research

Only service to those who wish to fill in their album themselves.

Quotations supplied for any of these three options.

All research is undertaken in-house and we have complete sets of Flat & National

Hunt formbooks dating back to pre-war days. Additionally, we can offer a Point-to-

Point service.

Our Calligraphers are based in Ditchling, East Sussex, widely regarded as the U.K.

home of this art form.

The racing colours are expertly hand-painted by heraldic artists who live locally.

We have been commissioned to undertake albums for many Owners—from household

names in Flat and National Hunt Racing to others with shares in syndicates. Many

clients have their albums updated annually.

We have produced albums of the careers of many racehorses—some famous, some

not so—but all much-loved by their owners. These make a fabulous gift judging from

the many appreciative letters we have received over the years.

We also offer other SPECIAL ALBUMS e.g. The career of a Trainer or Jockey or a

special Stud Book.

OUR RACING SCRAPBOOKS are designed for the racing fan to keep personal

memories of his or her racing days.

Our top-of-the-range RACING MEMORABILIA will preserve those treasured

racing moments; bound in the finest Morocco available, this merits pride of place in a

racing persons home.

All albums are made in leather to our specifications, by traditional British

bookbinders, to ensure consistent quality at all times.

In addition to Racing Albums we produce superb quality bespoke Visitors Books,

Photograph Albums etc., in fact virtually any individual album of your choice.

We have a great many British clients, several in Ireland, some in Europe, and an agent

in The West Indies who is successfully developing the market there.
